Services for Infants and Children

What Gabrielle Offers

I am trained to assist families with all of their children’s communication needs. My services are evidence-based, meaning that my practice is guided by scientific evidence, my clinical experience, and the values of my clients.

Services usually begin with an assessment, which evaluates your child’s communicative strengths, as well as areas of improvement. Assessments can be completed using formal (standardized testing) or informal (questionnaires, caregiver interview, observation, etc.) measures to evaluate an individual’s speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing skills. Following the completion of an assessment, I work with clients and their families to identify targeted areas of intervention, and intervention sessions are planned to work towards achieving these goals. Recommendations and strategies can be provided to improve communication in all settings - daycares, schools, home, in the community, etc. Assessment and treatment are individualized to you!
