How do I start services with Gabrielle?

Do you have an office, or can you come to me?

No I don’t! Therapy locations can be very flexible and suited to client and family needs. Therapy can take place at the client’s home, school, daycare, workplace, community, etc. Therapy is provided in the client’s natural environment to ensure successful carryover of skills and involvement of the client’s support system.

How much do services cost?

Fees vary due to the nature of the visit, including assessment, intervention, group intervention, and consultation. Private services can be funded by extended health benefit programs, Ontario Autism Program (OAP) or Jordan’s Principle funding. Please reach out to find out more about costs and eligibility for funding!

Do you take third party insurance?

Speech-language pathology services are covered by most extended health benefit programs, but it is recommended that clients check their policy details beforehand to confirm coverage limits. All sessions are fee-for-service, which means that receipts are provided following the sessions, which can be submitted to OAP, Jordan’s Principle, or insurance benefits by the client.

Do you work with Jordan’s Principle or the Ontario Autism Program?

What methods of payment do you accept?

Sessions can be paid for via e-transfer or cheque.

Do I need a Doctor’s referral?

No physician referral is required to work with me! However, depending on the service you require and your eligibility for funding with extended health benefits, a referral may be required. Please email or phone me directly for more information.
