Services for Adults

What Gabrielle Offers

I have been trained to assist clients and their families with all of their communication needs. My services are evidence-based, meaning that my practice is guided by scientific evidence, my clinical experience, and the values of my clients.

Services usually begin with an assessment, which evaluates and individual’s communicative strengths, as well as areas of improvement. Assessments can be completed using formal (standardized testing) or informal (questionnaires, caregiver and/or client interview, observation, etc.) measures to evaluate an individual’s speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing skills. Following the completion of an assessment, I collaborate with clients and their families to identify targeted areas of intervention, and intervention sessions are planned to work towards achieving these goals. Recommendations and strategies can be provided to improve communication in all settings - hospitals, nursing homes, work, home, in the community, etc. Assessment and treatment are individualized to you!
